Welcome back to my blog, today I am sharing my latest DT project for Daisy's Jewels and Crafts, it has been a strange few days with this weather, personally, I prefer the summer time, may have something to do with being born in July.
Today's blog is with the lovely kit from Daisy's Six Drawer Storage Chest.
I have taken pictures of step by step process with the product's used:
cutting papers to size for the outside.
Sides 19 cm x 17.5
Top 20 cm x 19 cm
Back17.5 x 18 cm
Cut to size ready for applying once the gilding is done around edges.
The collection below is from Sheena Douglas Time Travel, I used basic 160 gsm paper and then used distress ink to colour and then used gilding wax along with Glossy Accents (Crackle) to give a glass effect.
MDF Cogs from Daisy's painted with Americana paint; Tuscan Red and then dry brushed with the Iridescent gold paint.
Below are the moulds for the kegs and old pennies, I used air dry clay and the painted with Americana acrylic paints; Burnt Amber from Daisy's then covered again with gilding wax, the same with the drawer handles.
