Rusted Clock Face

Welcome back to my blog

Today I am sharing my latest DT project for Daisy's Jewels and Crafts...

We are also very proud to be using our new DT Badge that I designed for the Daisy Team

Completed picture below

There is no glue used on this product its a simple clock face with any mechanism

Other products used to get this effect:

Pentarat rust collection and Dali Art stamp.
Stencil from Daisy's COGS
Pebeo Texture Paste
Dali Art Stamp: Steampunk Lady
Black Archival Ink
Clear Embossing Powder
Heat Gun
White Gesso (prima)
Bottle cap
Glue Gun
Two metal Keys
A sheet of gold mirror card for behind the numbers.
Three small rice paper pieces (clock face) from Stamperia

After adding the prima to the clock face, use the black ink to stamp the steampunk lady on any side of the clock and add the clear embossing powder.

Using the pentart collection start by building up the layers after the texture paste is completely dry, starting with the Brown, followed by the red rust and then the mustard colour this will give you a great rust look effect on any project.  Add the Bottle cap to the centre of the clock face, allow drying then add a small circle of mdf for the keys to sit in between them, using the glue gun add the keys to the middle in between the bottle cap ...

I hope this has given you all some crafty inspiration, and look forward to the next time...
